Acceptance

By using Rice: Interpreter ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Rice: Interpreter provides real-time voice translation. Audio is streamed to a third-party AI service and translated speech is played back to you. The service requires an active internet connection.

Account & Balance

• Your account is identified by an anonymous device identifier. There is no sign-up process.
• Translation usage is metered in seconds. Your remaining balance is displayed in the app.
• Subscription minutes refresh each billing cycle. Top-up minutes do not expire.

Subscriptions & Purchases

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple and managed via your Apple ID. They auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Top-up purchases are one-time and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or abuse the service.
• Circumvent usage limits or device verification.

Disclaimer

Translations are powered by AI and may not be perfectly accurate. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Do not rely on translations for critical, legal, or medical communications.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
